Root Vegetable Gratin

Layers of finely sliced swede followed by parsnip, then a layer of chopped garlic (one clove), grated Parmesan and cheddar and thyme. Then layers of butternut squash, white and sweet potatoes - topped with chopped garlic, thyme, salt and pepper - vegetable stock and milk added (about 200ml) and topped with more cheese mix - put in oven (GM6) for 40/45 minutes - goes well with lamb, pork or chicken.
